NEC Projectors - Preparation for a temporary Shutdown

For NC1200C, NC2000C, NC3200S, NC3240S, NC900C, NC1100L:

  • If there is an Enigma card (PN# NC-80LB01) in these units, please make sure it is fully charged (48 hrs. of power On should be sufficient).
    • The Enigma charge normally remains for about 6 month, before recharge is necessary.
  • The ICP board contains RTC battery, which is good for 6 years and Cert battery for 10 years, both from manufacture date.
  • The CPU board has a super capacitor for RTC (Real time clock), which holds a charge for about 2 weeks.
    • Once the CPU super capacitor discharges completely; on next boot up it will resync with ICP RTC.

For NC2041L and NC2402ML:

  • The FMT board has a super capacitor for RTC (Real time clock), which holds a charge for about 2 weeks.
    • Once the FMT super capacitor discharges completely; on next boot up it will resync with IMS RTC.
  • The FMT board also contains Cert. battery, which is good for 10 years from PJ manufacture date

For NC1201L, NC1000C:

  • The FMT board RTC (Real time clock) relies on IMS/IMB RTC, it will resync with IMS/IMB RTC during next bootup.
  • The FMT board also contains Cert. battery, which is good for 10 years from PJ manufacture date

For NEC IMS (NP90MS02):

  • The Cert battery is good for about a year before recharging is needed.
